Nursery Starting and Finishing Times

 Morning Nursery: 8:30am- 11.30am

Afternoon Nursery: 12.30pm-3.30pm

Doors open 10 minutes before the end of our sessions to allow you to change books with your child and to speak with your child’s key person.

If your child is unwell and absent from school, it is very important that you telephone school and inform us.

On the First Day

Bring your child into the Nursery unit, show them their peg and drawer and share some of the activities with them. You and your child will be welcomed by Miss Ormesher, Miss Hay and Mrs Doig on this day.

It is important to say goodbye and we would like to assure you when you leave your child, tears are usually short lived. If necessary leave them for short periods gradually increasing the length of time. When you collect your child ask them what they have enjoyed in the day.

Daily Contact

We will let you know of anything important which happens on a daily basis, also please ask/inform us of anything which you think we should know which could affect your child whilst at school.

There will be many occasions during the year when you will be invited into Nursery to join in with our activities.
