In Year Five, we learn through lots of exciting and inspiring themes! We develop our reading, writing, maths and creative skills through various topics. Our topics give us lots of fun and creative opportunities to work independently and co-operatively in lots of practical and creative ways. The topics we explore in Year Five are: The Victorians, Ancient Greeks, The Titanic, The Aztecs and Famous Faces. For each of our topics, we work together as a class to create a themed role play area that complements our topic explorations; we believe that everyone learns differently and so we complete our topic work in practical and engaging ways.  We also share our own ideas and research so that our learning is around our interests, which makes it more motivational and inspires us within each of our topic and curriculum areas.
