School meals can be ordered on a termly basis at a cost of £13.25 per week (£2.65 per day). To support planning and consistency, children’s meal patterns can only be changed at the beginning of a new school term.

School meals are paid for using our online payment system MCAS. You will need to set up an account to use it:

MCAS

If you would like your child to have a school meal, then please speak to our office staff who will be more than happy to help.

From September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be eligible to have a universal free school meal.

From September 2026, the Department for Education (DfE) is introducing changes to Free School Meals (FSM) eligibility and the application process.

All families will now need to reapply each year, as previous “transitional protection” will end. Eligibility will be checked annually before the Autumn term.

We use the LGFL eligibility checker and encourage all parents/carers to check and apply as soon as possible.

Eligibility has been expanded to include all households receiving Universal Credit, as well as those on other qualifying benefits.

Please note: if your child currently receives FSM, you must still reapply.
